Biography

To tell you a little about myself, I grew up in Southern California. I graduated from UCLA with a B.S. in molecular, cellular, and developmental biology. I received my medical degree from Albany Medical College in New York. My internship was completed at Mattel Children’s Hospital at the UCLA Medical Center. I finished my training in pediatrics at Children’s Hospital of Orange County. I went on to complete a fellowship in adult and pediatric allergy and immunology at the University of California at Irvine. During my training, I had the opportunity to see both children and adults at the UCI Medical Center and Long Beach Veterans Administration Hospital.

I am board certified in allergy and immunolgy by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology. I am a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. I have made presentations at the national meetings of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology and the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology. I have staff privileges at several hospitals including Little Company of Mary in San Pedro, Presbyterian Intercommunity Hospital in Whittier, Children's Hospital of Orange County, and the UCI Medical Center.

Currently, I teach allergy and immunology as a assistant clinical professor at the UCI Medical Center. In 2008, I served as the Vice President of the Orange County Society of Clinical Allergy and Immunology.

Languages spoken include English, Mandarin Chinese, and Taiwanese.
